Jackie Lee Smith, Sr.

Jackie Lee Smith, Sr., 62, of Lawrenceburg, died Thursday, May 26, 2016 at his residence.

He was born in Frankfort, KY to the late Ralph Thomas and Betty Jane Lewis Smith.  He was a warehouse worker at Clark Distributing in Versailles.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife of 38 years, Darlene Kay Campbell Smith, Lawrenceburg; daughter, Jennifer Ann Smith (Ricky Fightmaster), Lawrenceburg; three sons, Shane Lee (Felicia) Smith, Frankfort, Jackie Lee (Ashley) Smith, Jr., Lawrenceburg, and Jeremy Lewis Smith, Lexington; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Olivia, Bryan Austin, Jackson Blaine, Carlee Ann, Rylee Cole and Justin Smith, and Haley Kincaid; two great-grandchildren, Adrian and Mila Smith; sister, Susie (Larry) Dempsey; and two brothers, Mike (Ron) Smith, Lexington, and Bobby (Tina) Smith.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie and Sandy.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Dr. Stephen Pattison officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation 5-8 p.m. Saturday.
