Loretta Jordan Disponett Riley, 99, widow of Edward Earl Riley, died Friday, January 15, 2016 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Anderson County to the late Pete and Minnie Stratton Disponett. She was a member of Goshen Baptist Church and was a housewife.
Mrs. Riley was survived by two daughters, Shirley Ann Durr, Betty Sue Houp; two sons, E.J. Riley, all of Lawrenceburg, Connie Joe (Peggy) Riley, Atlanta, GA; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by son, Delaine Riley; 2 sons-in-law, William Durr, Raymond Houp; 2 sisters, Julia Riley, Audrey Mae Disponett; and one brother, E.B. Disponett.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Fred Knickerbocker and Bro. Steve Broughton officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday.
Casketbearers will be Earl Riley, Jr., Edwin Riley, Larry Coke, Eric Durr, Patrick Riley, Mike Riley, Ricky Coke, Kevin Riley, and Eddie Durr. Honorary will be Ann and Darrell Gabhart, Jean Sea, Buddy White, Rhonda and Mark Whetzel, Grace Perry, Kayla Broughton, Tara Lester, Patricia Carpenter, Clint Hardin, Pete Mayewski, Charles and Mildred Stratton.
