Frances Ann (Morris) Semple

Frances Ann Morris Semple, age 84, of Lawrenceburg, widow of George Henry Semple, died Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the UK Medical Center.

She was born in Anderson County to the late Clarence Burton and Willie Nan Nash Morris.  She was a member of First Baptist Church, faithful member of the church choir, and Fidelis Sunday School Class; and formerly worked in assembly at Trigg, Inc.

Mrs. Semple is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Ann (Greg) Nease, Frankfort, Barbara Jean (Keith) Drury, Lawrenceburg; two sons, Elwood Sullivan, Jr., Lawrenceburg, Timothy Wayne (Renee) Sullivan, Frankfort; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Barry Ray Sullivan; 5 brothers, Clarence, William T., Robert, Lucien, and Ralph Morris; and sister, Margaret Wainscott.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at First Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Logsdon officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to services on Wednesday.  

Pallbearers will be members of her family.  Honorary bearers will be the Fidelis Sunday School Class.
