William White, 93, husband of 69 years to Lucille Lancaster White, of Lawrenceburg, died Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Anderson County to the late Hugh and Eddie Boggess White. He was a member at Sand Spring Baptist Church; formerly worked at Seagram Distillery in the boiler room; and owner of Whites Excavation.
Along with his wife he is survived by three children, Donna (Tad) Young, Ricky “Chigger” (Betty) White, and Larry (Daisy) White, all of Lawrenceburg; sister, Rose Jordan, Louisville; 8 grandchildren, La Shannon (Scott) Perkins, Renee Young, Cecilya (BJ) Goin, Dalton (Keri) Young, Houston (Jamie) White, Lee White, Desiree Douglas and Beth Ritchie; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Houston and John White and sisters, Arzelia McMichael and Flora Mae Chaffin.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Dr. Mike Hamrick and Bro. Roy Temple, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11-2 prior to the service.
Casket bearers will be Harold Case, Dalton Young, Houston White, Lee White, Scott Perkins and BJ Goin.
To abide by the regulations set forth by the State of Kentucky all persons attending a visitation or funeral (public or private) will be required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. Fifty (50%) occupancy of the funeral home/church will be in practice. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
