William Stewart Gash

William Stewart Gash, 82, of Lawrenceburg, died Thursday, August 18, 2022 in Beaver Dam, KY at his daughters residence.

Mr. Gash is the son of the late JB and Eleanor Cox Gash. He was a graduate of Anderson County High School; retired from IBM where he worked as a line supervisor for 27 years; and was a barber for 15 years.

          He is survived by his three children, William S. “Bill” (Suzanne) Gash II, David B. (Tina) Gash, both of Smithville, TN and Chandra L. (Billy) Young, of Beaver Dam, KY; grandchildren, Caleb (Makenzy) Gash, Jordan (Erika) Gash, Callie (Caleb) Cantrell, Rachel (Kieran) Russell, Johnny Young, Will Young and Hannah Young; great grandchildren, Britton Gash, Oliver Cantrell and Torryn Gash; and sister, Mecia (Richard) Crutcher, Lawrenceburg.

          Funeral services will be Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Gash Memorial Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. John Cashion officiating. Burial will follow in Fox Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. prior to the service.

          Casket bearers will be Caleb Gash, Jordan Gash, Johnny Young, Will Young, Dennis West and David Crutcher.
