William Forrest Gash, age 84, husband of 66 years to Shirley Ann Stratton Gash, of Lawrenceburg, died Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky.
Mr. Gash was born in Mercer County to the late Richard Thomas and Onita Gritton Gash. He was a member of Kirkwood Baptist Church where he was also a Deacon; member of FSA Board; and a farmer.
Along with his wife he is survived by three sons, Douglas (Jane) Gash, Lawrenceburg, Ricky (Deborah) Gash and Mark (Charmane) Gash, both of Salvisa; six sisters, Pauline Hanks, Danville, Dorothy Simpson, Harrodsburg, Patricia (Bobby) Flora, Velena (Roy) Harley, Brenda (Jimmy) Peach, and Judy (Jamie) Harley, all of Lawrenceburg; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by two brothers, Richard Gash, Jr. and Lewis Gash; and great-grandson, Ethan Gash.
William was loved by us and so many other people but due to the circumstances his service will be private. We just want you to know we love you all and appreciate your prayers at this time.
