Virginia Lois (Hall) Cornish

Virginia Lois Hall Cornish, of Lawrenceburg KY, widow of Davis Clay Cornish, passed away on June 14, 2024, at Baptist Health in Lexington, after a short illness. 

Lois was born to the late Oda Hall and Virginia Ethel Martin Hall.  Ms. Cornish worked vending at Florida Tile and retired from the Anderson County School System.  She enjoyed listening to gospel music, talking daily to her family and friends, and kept an immaculate home. 

Ms. Cornish is survived by her son, Scott (Scarlett) Cornish of Georgetown, 2 grandchildren, Jordan (Sylvia) Cornish and Madison Cornish, both of Georgetown.  2 great-grandchildren, McKinley Cornish and Nate Carter, brother, Bill (Anita) Hall of Nicholasville. 

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Joslin, Judy Issacs, Peg Reece, Janie Hall and her brother, Kenneth Hall. 

A memorial gathering will be held 11am – 1pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Noon and Son Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg.  She will be laid to rest beside her husband, in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
