Steven Charles DePaola, 68, husband of Judy Ann Linville DePaola, of Lawrenceburg, died Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA to Charles and Mary Elizabeth Taylor DePaola. He was a graduate of Santee High School; US Navy Veteran that served during the Vietnam War; and worked as a heavy equipment operator for DD Converters in Rock Springs, Wyoming where he was a resident from 1976 to 2015 when he moved to Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
Along with his wife he is survived by three children, Martha (Ron) Garcia, of Tucson, AZ, James Eads, of Willits, CA and Frank (Beverly) DePaola, of Fort Mill, SC; two step-children, David Washburn, Springfield, and Belinda Gillentine, Lebanon; two brothers, Chris DePaola and Tom (Christina) DePaola, both of San Diego, CA; three sisters, Lynn (Ernest) Smart, Mountain View, WY, Toni DePaola, Ottawa, KS and Terrie DePaola, Gentry, AR; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Steven was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Gress.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 21, 2022 at Gash Memorial Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Robert F. Ehr officiating. Cremation will follow after the service. Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. prior to the service.
