Robert Fulton Raymond

Robert Fulton Raymond, 87, husband of 65 years to Evelyn June Raymond, of Lawrenceburg, died Sunday, January 15, 2023 at his residence.

          He was born in Shelby County to the late Ralph and Carrie Bell Jones Raymond. Mr. Raymond was active in the Baptist Religion; US Army Veteran that served during the Berlin Crisis; a former Plant Manager for Ferrellgas; member of the Anderson County Masonic Lodge; worked as a farmer; enjoyed showing cattle with his grandchildren; fishing; and driving a tractor.

          Along with his wife he is survived by his three children, Becky L. Raymond (Wade Hatchell), Chad F. Raymond, and Laura J. Raymond, all of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren, Corey "Bubby" Peters, Chelsey Bast, and Jaden Raymond; granddaughter-in-law, Carin Peters; great-grandchildren, Jacey Lee Peters, Kendall Bast, Kayden Bast, Layne Allen Day, Kolten Bast, Korbyn Bast, Karter Bast, and Kenzy Jo Kate Bast; and brother, Bud Raymond, of Louisville.

          Mr. Raymond was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Ann Morris; and two brothers, Fred and Jimmy Raymond.

          Funeral services will be Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Gash Memorial Chapel with Creech Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Sand Spring Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday.

          Casket bearers will be Chad Raymond, Corey Peters, Wade Hatchell, Kendall Bast, Kayden Bast, Chuck Hiske, Jacey Peters and Layne Allen Day. Honorary bearers will be Harold Moore, James R. Smith, Bud Raymond, Jaden Raymond and Robert Lewis Holt.
