Robert Nichols Lawrence

         Dr. Robert Nichols “Bob” Lawrence, DMD, 85, of Lawrenceburg, formerly of Louisville, died Saturday, June 16, 2018 at his residence.

         He was born in Cumberland, KY to the late Nicholas and Margaret Mazer Lawrence. Dr. Lawrence graduated from UofL Dental School; was a US Army veteran that served during the Korean War; and spent 50+ years owning his own practice known as Dr. Robert Lawrence, DMD in Louisville, KY. He was a Kentucky Colonel and also a member of the American Dental Association.

         Bob was survived by his three children, Jeremy (Kristi) Lawrence, of New Mexico, Stephanie (Kevin) Turner, of Lawrenceburg, and Melissa Lawrence, of Louisville; two sisters, Betty Mills (William) Trower, of Arkansas, and Grace Carruba, Montana; two grandchildren, Jonathan (Amanda Fanning) Lawrence and Catherine (Evan Rochford) Lawrence; and one great-grandchild, Lucy Rose Lawrence.

         Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Nicholas Lawrence; brother, Carl Lawrence; sister, Margaret Binion; and brother, Ernie Lawrence.

         Cremation was chosen and no services have been scheduled at this time. Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
