Rickey Dale Haydon left this world on November 8th, 2023, in a peaceful way after a brief illness. Rick was comforted in his final days recounting old stories of family, friends, and dear cherished memories throughout his life.
Born to John Franklin Haydon and Edith Purvis Haydon on October 24th, 1955 – Rick brought light to this world with his fun-loving spirit and kind-hearted dedication. Throughout his life, he continually served others, and his love for theater was something truly special.
He leaves behind a loving wife, Bonnie, who he shared many adventures of traveling the world with, a loyal brother, Charles "Butch" Graves (Marcella), who he was so proud of, and sister-in-law, Karen Rynbrandt.
He is survived by his children, Whitney Forbes (Derek), Todd Haydon (Kari), Bryan Haydon (Ellie), Olivia Harmsen, and Nicholas (Rachel) Harmsen. Poppy also loved his grandchildren: Natalie Haydon, Bethany Haydon, Weston Haydon, Olivia Haydon, Robbie Forbes, Maisy Haydon, Liberty Haydon, Philly Harmsen, and Luuk Harmsen.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry, and his wife's parents, Donald and Lavina Barkel.
Rick did not wish for those to be saddened further with a funeral, and so we invite you to donate to your local animal shelter or community theater in his honor, in place of sending flowers. He will be sorely missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Noon and Son Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with final care.
