Rena Bell Mullins Perry, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Raymond Stewart Perry, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at UofL Health Shelbyville Hospital.
Mrs. Perry was born in Knott County, Kentucky to the late John Wesley and Margaret Amburgy Mullins. She was a member of Corinth Christian Church; former cook at Stringtown Head Start; homemaker and farmer.
Bell is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Earl) Bruner, Waddy; three sons, Johnny (Ray Jean) Perry, Jimmie (Julisa) Perry, and Jamie (Nadia) Perry, all of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren, Tommy (Denise) Stucker, Stephanie (Dwayne) Warford, Melissa Shouse, Johnny Ray (Tracy) Perry, Dathan Elijah (Lee Ellen) Perry, Christopher Perry, Donna Kay Loyd, and Derek Alan (Tiffany) Perry; 12 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; three brothers; one sister; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Noon & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Sawyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Friday and starting at 9 a.m. Saturday prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Honorary bearers will be Tommy Stucker, Tyler Stewart, Alex Wainscott, Phil Wainscott, and Dwayne Warford.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mt. Vernon Cemetery Fund.
