Porfelia "Peefee" Lucero (Huereca) Futrell

Porfelia “Peefee” Lucero Futrell, 80, wife of David Futrell, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at her residence.

          She was born on February 8, 1944 in Clovis, New Mexico to the late Abel Huereca and Maria Rita Josephina Lucero. She was a graduate of Clovis High School; member at The Point Community Church in Frankfort; and worked for 32 years as an upholstery seamstress.

          Along with her spouse she is survived by two daughters, Beverly Thomas, of Huber Heights, OH and Tina Eagle-Yunt; 10 grandchildren, Michael Thomas, Jessica Talbot, Stephanie Fitzgerald, David Thomas, Nichole Eagle, Timothy Thomas, Rachel Geiser, Danielle Lirio, Joel Thomas and Candice Thomas; great-grandchildren, Gabe, Levi, Jonathan, and Isaiah Thomas, Wyatt Dean, Hunter and Justus Geiser, Noa Thomas, and coming soon, Judah Alexander Talbot.

          Cremation was chosen and no services have been scheduled at this time.
