Marti Darleen Thompson Goodlett

Marti Darleen Thompson Goodlett, beloved mother, daughter, Mimi, and sister passed away on November 29, 2024.  Marti was born in Lexington, Ky to the late John Davis Thompson and Betty Frances Robinson Thompson.  She was a 1986 graduate of Anderson County high school.

Marti grew up in Lawrenceburg where she was a huge UK Wildcats fan and an avid music lover.  Her friends and family will remember her as an AC/DC music loving, Mountain Dew drinking, fun loving little firecracker. 

Marti was preceded in death by her daughter Whitney Kristine Thompson and her father John Davis Thompson. She is survived by her son John-Robert Cameron Goodlett (Whitney) of Huntington, WV and her daughter Ashton Elizabeth Goodlett of Somerset, KY.  She also had 4 grandchildren, Jerrick, Danielle, and Everleigh as well as her mother Betty Thompson and two siblings Kristi Thompson McMichael and Brad Thompson.

Funeral service will be held on December 3rd, 2024 at 1:00 at the Noon and Son Funeral home in Lawrenceburg.  Visitation will be from 11:00 until 1:00 prior to the service. Burial to follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
