It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Martha Quinn Moss, age 89, who departed this life peacefully on December 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
A devoted homemaker, Martha created a life filled with warmth, love, and countless cherished memories. Born on August 23, 1935, in Georgetown, Kentucky to the late James Riley and Lydia Dell Mullikin Risk, Martha dedicated her life to her family. Her home was a haven of comfort and joy, filled with the aroma of her delicious cooking, the laughter of loved ones, and her unmatched hospitality.
Martha was a member of Dry Run Baptist Church. She married Edgar “Jubie”Moss Jr. on October 11, 1952, and together they shared 38 years of love and partnership. Their union was blessed with 3 sons: Tommy, Joey, and Jamie Moss, who brought her immense pride and happiness. Her legacy extends to her grandson, Brandon Shane Moss and great-granddaughter, Madison Moss who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Martha was a woman of quiet strength, unwavering faith, and boundless generosity. She enjoyed cooking, painting, spending time with her loved ones, and her kindness touched the lives of everyone she met.
She is survived by her grandson, Brandon Shane Moss (Sara Wilson), daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Moss, great-granddaughter, Madison Moss, and step great-grandchildren, Lilly-Anne and Gavin Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her beloved Husband, Edgar “Jubie”Moss Jr., sons, Tommy, Joey, and Jamie Moss, sisters, Betty Devers and Doris Clark, brother, Richard Thomas Risk and parents, James Riley and Lydia Mullikin Risk.
Per Marthas request there will not be a visitation or traditional funeral service
