Louis Alfred Colpitts Obituary

Louis Alfred Colpitts, 79, of Lawrenceburg, widower of Edith Faye Colpitts, died Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Baptist Health in Lexington.

 

          He was born in Flagler, CO to the late Clarence and Francis Colpitts. He was a graduate of Cope High School; US Army Veteran that guarded the Berlin Wall; and retired from Lexmark where he worked as a Tool and Dye Maker. Lou was also a member of the Millville Horseshoe and Cornhole Club and enjoyed traveling in his free time.

 

          Mr. Colpitts is survived by his granddaughter, Johnna Marie Loman, Lexington and a sister, Karen Wall, of TN.

 

          Including his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ivan, Marvin, and Orris Colpitts and sister, Wilma.

 

          No services have been scheduled at this time. Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
