Lois V. Newton

Lois V. Newton, 90, passed away March 10, 2025 at Baptist Louisville. She was born January 28, 1935 to the late William Edgar and Fannie Jane Barnett Scrogham. Lois was a Caregiver for many years and a member of Vanburen Baptist Church.

Survived by her children, Danny Dale Newton (Paula) of Lawrenceburg, KY., Steven Newtown (Beverly) of Willisburg, KY., Lois Jean Hendricks of Marion, KY. Siblings, Ruby Hagerman of Bloomfield, KY., Helen Coulter of Fern Creek, KY., Floyd Lee Scrogham of Bardstown, KY. 14 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren, and 24 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death including her parents, a son Kevin Newton.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2025 at Highview Cemetery in Chaplin, KY.
