Kimberly Sue (Schweinfurth) Harvey

Kimberly Sue Schweinfurth Harvey, 58, loving wife to Jobey Martin Harvey, of Lawrenceburg, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at her residence.

Kim was born in Los Angeles, California to Carolyn Sue McVey (Darrell) Sanford, of Nicholasville, and the late Donald Robert Schweinfurth.  She was a 1981 graduate of Boyle County High School and a member of the Church of Christ in Nicholasville.

Along with her husband and mother Kim is survived by a stepson, Martin Jerome Harvey, Lexington; brother, Eric King, Nicholasville; sister, Kellie Reddoor, Lexington; stepbrother, Jeff Sanford, Junction City; sister-in-law, Melissa Sanford; three nephews, Cameron, Tanyon, and Kenyon Sanford, all of Stanford; two special friends, Vickie Allen and Janet Ralley, both of Lawrenceburg.  Kim also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her fierce loyalty, love of life, and her people.  She was always the first to call upon if you needed advice on growing flowers (she had the greenest thumb) or how to get through life’s challenging times.  She was always available with open arms and positive loving words.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Derek Marsh; two grandmothers, Gwin Chandler and Marjorie Bellamy.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Lee Hagewood and Rev. Will Howard officiating.  Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. prior to the funeral on Tuesday.

Pall bearers will be Josh Stinnett, David Mudd, Manuel Harvey, Cody Shingleton, David Price, Anthony Sullivan, and Rick Allen.
