Kansas Marie (Cook) Hall

Kansas Marie “Nala” Cook Hall, 34, wife of 7 years to Ronald Anthony “Simba” Hall, Jr., of Lawrenceburg, died Saturday, October 22, 2022 at University of Louisville Jewish Hospital.

          Mrs. Hall was born in Bexar, Texas to the late Kerry Thomas and Evelyn Arlene Mays Cook.  She had an Associate Degree in drug counseling and was a homemaker.

          Along with her husband, Kansas is survived by her brother, Tommy Cook, Spring, TX; maternal grandmother, Sue Mays, Kerrville, TX; mother-in-law, Barbara Ruth Hall, Lawrenceburg; special friend, Sarah Hunter, TX; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

          She was preceded in death by her brother, Montana Cook; maternal grandfather, Donnie Mays; and paternal grandparents, Thomas and Jerri Cook.

          A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2022 with Bro. Steve Wells officiating.  Visitation 10-11:30 a.m. Friday prior to the service.  Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
