Jimmy Pitmman Obituary

Jimmy Lee Pittman was born January 17th, 1960 to Jimmie W. Pittman and Geneva (Masters, Pittman) Riley. He married Brenda L. (Ingle) Pittman on June 24th, 1996. Jimmy died at his Greenwood, Indiana home on August 5th, 2019

Jimmy lived life to the fullest, played hard, and worked harder. His colorful, outgoing personality and always being himself endeared him to people wherever he went. He never met a stranger and would, (and has) given anyone in need, the shirt off his back or his last dollar. He loved his family and his many friends with all his heart. His favorite thing to do was hang out in the back yard with his friends around a fire.

Jimmy is survived by wife Brenda Pittman Greenwood, IN, his father Jimmie W Pittman Lawrenceburg, KY, stepmother Phyllis Pittman Lawrenceburg, KY, brother Cletus Riley (Joy) Lawrenceburg, KY, sisters Debbie Pittman Lebanon, KY, Ramona Pittman Lawrenceburg, KY,       Pamela Argo (Bill) Lexington, KY, Brenda Riley (Angelique) Lawrenceburg, KY, and Katrina Pittman (Darrel)  Lawrenceburg, KY. His son Raymond Fox (Teria) Brookville, IN, daughter Sara Doneff Greenwood, IN, stepdaughter Lindsey Ward Greenwood, IN, stepsons Christopher Hawkins (Nikie) Lawrenceburg, KY, and Cameron Riley (Ashley) Lawrenceburg, KY. Jimmy is also survived by his granddaughters Adreonna Fox Brookville, IN and Alexia Riley Lawrenceburg, KY, and grandsons Austin Bowman Brookville, IN, Dawson Hill Greenwood, IN, and Josiah Hawkins Lawrenceburg, KY.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his mother Geneva (Masters, Pittman) Riley, stepfather Cletus Riley, daughter Nicole Whitney, sister Linda Riley, and his dog Tipsey and bird Peaches.

A visitation will be held Friday, August 16, 2019 at Gash Memorial Chapel from 4-6 pm.
