Jerry Glenn Davis, 65, husband of 43 years to Deborah Lynn Shouse Davis, of Lawrenceburg, died Sunday, December 6, 2020 at his residence.
He was born in Lexington, KY to the late Orville Kenneth and Mary Blanche Robinson Davis. He built homes with his father at Davis Builders for 20 years and formerly drove a truck for the Department of Corrections for 27 years. He was a past Master of Anderson County Masonic Lodge #90; past High Priest of Lawrenceburg Chapter 138; past Commander of Shelbyville Lodge #32; and past Illustrious Master of Harry F. Walters Council #101.
Along with his wife he is survived by two children, Alice Ann (Charlie) Haise and Jerry Glenn Davis, Jr., both of Lawrenceburg; brother, Ronald (Brenda) Davis, of Bronson, FL; two nephews, Ken (Diane) Davis, Tampa, FL and Mark (Jennifer) Davis, of Waco, TX.
Private services will be held at Gash Memorial Chapel with Dave Sutherland officiating. A Masonic service will precede the service. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
To abide by the regulations set forth by the State of Kentucky all persons attending a visitation or funeral will be required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. Twenty five people, chosen by the family, may attend the services at the funeral home/church. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
