James Burdon Riggle

         James Burdon Riggle, 77, husband of 42 years to Christine Pizon Riggle, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 at his residence.

          He was born in West Palm Beach, FL to the late Ralph Gordon and Madelyn Bullock Riggle. He was a US Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War; member at New Liberty Christian Church; 1964 graduate of Palm Beach High School; and a retired police officer after 30 years of service at West Palm Beach Police. In his spare time James enjoyed making Indian artifacts such as masks, tomahawks and bead work

           Along with his wife Mr. Riggle is survived by two sons, Richard Wayne Riggle, of Easley, SC and James Eric (Karen) Binge, of Lawrenceburg; 6 grandchildren, Austin Riggle, Mallorei Riggle, Gideon Binge, Nathan Binge, Brian McMurrer and John McMurrer; and sister, Mary Ann (Marti) Wandelt, of Seabring, FL.

          James was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard G. Riggle.

          A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. at Noon & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 6-7:30 p.m.
