James Leslie Cunningham

          James Leslie Cunningham, 71, of Nicholasville, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024 at his residence.

          Mr. Cunningham was born in Lawrenceburg, KY to the late Thomas Alonzo Cunningham, Sr. and Virginia Waite Cunningham. He was a United States Army Veteran and graduate of Anderson County High School.

          James is survived by his son, James L. McDuffie and his wife Stephanie of Morehead, KY; 3 grandchildren, Darion, Nicholas and Quincy; 5 brothers, Thomas Alonzo Cunningham, Jr., of Martin, TN, Arthur Finnell (Debbie) Cunningham, Frankfort, Kevin Lee Cunningham, Lawrenceburg, Perry Allen Cunningham, Somerset and Wayman Paul Cunningham, Lawrenceburg; and several nieces and nephews.

          Cremation was chosen and burial will follow at a later date at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
