Harry Maddox

          Harry Maddox, age 73, of Lawrenceburg, husband for 16 years to Gloria Ann Webb Maddox, died Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital.

          He was born in Taylorsville, KY to the late William Thomas and Myrtle Elizabeth Nation Maddox.  He was a member of Ballard Baptist Church, and retired from Anderson County Road Department.

          He is survived by his wife Gloria Maddox, Lawrenceburg; 3 daughters, Judy Ann (James) Carter, Versailles, Deborah Christopherson, and Star Cummins, both of Lawrenceburg; 4 sons, Harry L. (Dawn) Maddox, Lawrenceburg, Dennie (Theresa) Fannin, Salvisa, Rex Davis, and Doug (Robin) Barker, both of Georgetown; 4 sisters, Shirley (Jim) Bratcher, Sturgis, Helen Hardin, Barbara Aldridge, and Carolyn (Rick) Metcalf, all of Lawrenceburg; 26 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

          He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Allen Maddox, and 2 brothers, Fred Thomas Maddox and Larry Maddox.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday February 1, 2020 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Noal Cotton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5-8 Friday. 

          Casketbearers will be Timothy Carter, Johnathan Perry, Cody Perry, Harry Lee Maddox, Dennie Fannin, and Hippie Riley.  Honorary bearers will be Robert Maddox, Keith Hardin, Wayne Aldridge, and James Carter.
