Harriet Elizabeth (Hammond) Dalcin

Harriet Elizabeth Dalcin, 85, passed away January 11, 2026, at her home in Lawrenceburg. She was born December 30, 1940, to the late Carl and Josie Ross Hammond. Harriet retired as a school teacher and was a graduate of EKU, and Elon University. She graduated Hendersonville High School and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

She is survived by a son, Matthew John Dalcin (Danita); a daughter, Rebecca Ross Cosby both of Lawrenceburg. Grandchildren, Kimi Nickels, Jonathan Cosby, and Ashley Dunn. Great Grandchild, Misha Day.

Along with her parents, Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Dalcin and a sister, Carleen Pryor.

A celebration of her life will be held 2:30 pm. Monday, January 19, 2026, at Noon & Son Funeral Home. Fr. Steve Roberts MD, STL, will be officiating.  Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until time of service.
