Georgia Helen Walters

Georgia Helen Walters, 82, passed away June 13, 2025 in Owenton, KY. She was born March 17, 1943 in Mt. Sterling, KY . She was the 9th of 11 children born to the late Rev. Ollie J and Lora Walters.  She graduated from Camargo High School in Montgomery County, KY

She is survived by her daughter Gina Barbara, grandson Dontae and sister Della Harrison.  She was an aunt to 36 nieces and nephews.  

 She is proceeded in death by 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

Georgia was a fun loving, compassionate person who never met a stranger.  She loved to see those around her happy.  She was a wonderful aunt and sister.  As her sister, I will cherish the memories of our years together.  All the surviving family will have special memories with Georgia, her love of playing pool, and stating how she was rock and roll, her love of being born on Saint Patrick’s Day.

Her journey on earth is done; she is home with JESUS!  She is waiting, waiting with so many of our loved ones, waiting for us when our journey on earth ends.  What a reunion she is having with mommy and daddy.
