Gary “Dane” Wiley, 57, husband of 21 years to Dawn Michelle Wiley, of Lawrenceburg, died Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Fayette County to Mary Ann Toll Wiley, of Lawrenceburg and the late Gary Elmer Wiley. He was a graduate of Harrodsburg High School; US Army National Guard; member at House of New Beginnings- Church of God; worked as a painter; and enjoyed fishing in his free time.
Along with his wife he is survived by three children, Anthony Dane (Brittany) Wiley, Texas, Garrett Taylor (Linda) Wiley, Montana, and Laura Ann Wiley, of Lawrenceburg; 3 sisters, Anita (Joe) Butler, of Owenton, Laura Wiley and Toni Wiley, both of Lawrenceburg; brother, Christian (Dreamia) Wiley, of Danville; 2 grandchildren, Oliver Wiley, of FL and Aiden Wiley, of TX; 2 aunts, Evelyn (Marvin) Smith, of Salvisa and Glenda (David) Blevins, Louisville; 3 nephews, Colton and Caleb Townsend, both of Lawrenceburg and Baron Wiley, of Danville; 2 nieces, Felicity and Kiley Wright, both of Owenton; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Gash Memorial Chapel with Tony Andrade officiating. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
Casket bearers will be Bobby Toll, Allen Toll, Christian Wiley, Mark Smith, Colton Townsend, Caleb Townsend and Mickey Toll. Honorary bearers will be Marvin Smith and David Blevins (uncles), Roscoe Cunningham, Robert Lewis, Joe Butler, and Robert Taylor.
