Doris Ann McCline

Doris Ann McCline, 73, passed on December 17, 2025, at Heritage Hall in Lawrenceburg, KY.  She was born January 21, 1952, in Shelby, Mississippi to the late Ruth L and Oscar McCline.  She was a dedicated mother and survived by her beloved son, LaVar McCline.  Their bond was one of the most precious, cherished and maintained relationships. She is also survived by 6 sisters, 2 brothers, and 3 brothers-in-law: Vannie & Corey Sanders of Frankfort, KY., Paulette & Will Jordan, Eric Ladd, Verna McCline, Debbie Sheard and LJay Walker all of Rockford, IL., Jackie & Maurice Durr of Oak Park, IL., and Linda Weathers of Chicago, IL.  

Ms. McCline was a dedicated professional, serving almost 30 years in wealth management with Northern Trust Bank.  Her commitment in the field was integral to the organization’s success and served as a testament to her diligent, steadfast personality.

She lived a vibrant life.  That was marked by her warm, bubbly, caring nature, and contagious laugh.  Her empathetic spirit will be carried on by a life well-lived and the lives she has touched with her positivity, generosity and kindness.  Doris always insisted on the importance of love.  Her advice was to love others and brighten someone else’s day.  This was embodied in her personality, and these lessons were imparted to others.  She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.  Doris’s spirit will inspire others to live a life of love and kindness.

She made a profession of faith and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses-Frankfort East.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Hezekiah McCline.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M., January 3, 2026, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses-Congregation West Rockford, 3645 W. Riverside Blvd., Rockford, IL 61101.
