Devonda Kae Riley Norton, 54, of Salvisa, widow of John Phillip Norton, Jr. died Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at her residence.
Ms. Norton was born in Frankfort, KY to the late Hobert and Donna Mae Messex Riley. Devonda was a dedicated housewife and mother and a former employee at Fairgrounds Drive-In. She was a 1986 Mercer County High School graduate, loved to cook, and was very family-oriented.
Devonda is survived by her two sons, Nicholas Nathaniel (Elizabeth) Norton and John Stedman (Carlena) Norton; close cousin, Ladana Smith Daily, all of Lawrenceburg; 6 brothers, Walter (Debbie) Riley, Lawrenceburg, Hobert (Susie) Riley, Darryl (Rebecca) Riley, both of Harrodsburg, Jeffrey (Brenda) Riley, Lawrenceburg, Timothy (Donna) Riley and Terry (Hope) Riley, both of Salvisa; 2 sisters, Debra Massengill and Jennifer (Mark) Freeman, both of Lawrenceburg; 4 grandchildren, Brianna, Jacob, Emily and Molly Norton, all of Lawrenceburg; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Justin Ryan Norton.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. George Dye officiating. Burial will follow in Sand Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. on Friday prior to the service.
Casket bearers will be Hobert Riley, Michael Riley, Joshua Riley, Shawn Riley, Austin Freeman, Joseph Riley and Andrew Riley. Honorary bearers will be Brandon Conn and Aleah Freeman.
