Daniel James Camic

      Daniel James Camic, 71, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the Hildegard House in Louisville, KY.

      Mr. Camic was born in Louisville, KY to the late Rufus Elwood and Thelma Blackwell Camic. He was a graduate of the Kentucky School for the Blind and also worked at Kentucky Industries for the Blind for several years.

      Daniel is survived by his two sisters, Mary Robinson, of Louisville and Jane (Bruno) Tellier, of Bougligny, France.

      Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Marie Barr.

      Cremation was chosen and no services have been scheduled. A private burial will follow at a later date in Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
