Craig S. McGaughey

Craig S. McGaughey, age 54, husband for 31 years to Chris Worland McGaughey, of Edgewood, Kentucky, formerly of Nicholasville, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood.

Mr. McGaughey was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana to the late Charles “Chuck” and Judy Bassist McGaughey.  He studied at Franklin College and Mid-America College.  He was a Funeral Director and Embalmer for 28 years for various companies over the years including Noon Mortuary Service.

Along with his wife, Craig is survived by two daughters, Alex McGaughey, of St. Newport, Kentucky, and Piper McGaughey, of Edgewood; brother, John (Debbie) McGaughey, of Filmore, Indiana; three sisters, Leah (John) Sinnet and Lisa Morgan, both of Crawfordsville, Indiana, and Lenay (John) Yorko, of Lancaster, Massachusetts; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Noon and Son Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.  The floor will be open from 6-7 p.m. for anyone that would like to share stories and memories of Craig.  On Monday, September 25, 2023, there will be an additional visitation from 12-1:30 p.m. at Russellville Community Church in Russellville, Indiana, with a burial to follow in the Russellville Cemetery.
