Charles Norbert Klink, 98, of Lawrenceburg, widower of Virginia Waller Klink, died Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at his residence.
He was born in Louisville, KY to the late Charles Thomas and Loretta Hillen Klink. Charles was a member at First Christian Church; US Navy Veteran that served during WWII in Okinawa, Japan at Fleet Hospital 116 and then transferred to USS Norton Sound in China; and was a pharmacist and co-owner at Klink's Drug Store.
Mr. Klink is survived by one son, Keith (Patty) Klink, Lawrenceburg; brother, Earl (Doris) Klink, Sarasota, FL; sister, Carole (Richard) Mix, of Prospect; two grandchildren, Brian (Melissa) Klink and Laura (Kyle) Lucas; 5 great-grandchildren, Brendan and Brady Klink and Kinley, Jayci and Rylan Lucas, all of Lawrenceburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Kaiser.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2019 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday.
Casket bearers will be Mike Sparrow, David Schaars, Steve Fields, Rick Hanks, Steve Carmichael, and Tim Frederick. Honorary bearers will be Chuck Brumley, Cathy Monroe, Rhonda Fackler, Lisha Barrow, Jennifer Riney and Darryl Baker.
