Carol Jean (Ferdan) Desponett

     Carol Jean Ferdan Desponett, 81, wife of 50 years to James Leon “Jimmy” Desponett, of Salvisa, died Friday, December 29, 2023 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

      She was born in Fairberry, IL to the late Maynard and Violet Feller Ferdan. She was a member at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church; retired from All Good Food where she worked as a cooker; a former beautician and worked in childcare. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and fishing.

      Along with her spouse, she is survived by 5 children, Terri (Dennis) Miller, Mike Foster, Frankfort, Bobbi Tremper, AZ, Kelly Tremper, IL and Billy Desponett, of Salvisa; sister, Barbara (Jim) Clark, IL; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

     Mrs. Desponett was preceded in death by a son, Greg Foster, and two brothers, Ron and Denny Ferdan.

     Cremation was chosen and no services have been scheduled at this time. Noon & Son Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with final care.
