Bonnie Jo Carpenter

Bonnie Jo Carpenter, 83, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Signature Healthcare at Heritage Hall. 

She was born on May 6, 1941 in Woodford County to the late Gilbert Allen and Martha Webb Hawkins. She was a member at Fox Creek Christian Church and worked as a Clerk for Clark's Pump-N-Shop. 

Bonnie is survived by her three children, James (Barbara) Kinder, of Nicholasville; Charlene (David) Crockett, of Lawrenceburg, and Elizabeth Sue Kinder, of Bagdad, KY; five grandchildren, Jordan, John, Jacoby, and Isabella Kinder and Elizabeth (Nathan) Norton; 3 great-grandchildren, Emily and Molly Norton, and Lincoln Kinder; two brothers, Gilbert Hawkins, Jr., of Martinville, IN and Brian Keith Hawkins, of Lexington; and two sisters, Ruth Ann Peavler, of Mt. Washington and Sandra Sue Hawkins, of Scottsburg, IN. 

Along with her parents Bonnie was preceded in death by a sister, Debra K. Perry and brother, William Russell "Rusty" Hawkins. 

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Noon & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Don Wells officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service.
