Betty Jean Grider

Betty Jean Grider, 92, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Len W. Grider, passed away Friday, August 9, 2024 at her residence.

She was born in Anderson County to the late Phillip Thompson and Nora Mae Stratton Yocum. She was a member at First Baptist Church and a former employee at Wild Turkey Distillery.

Betty is survived by a daughter, Deborah Ann Drury, of Lawrenceburg; granddaughter, Robin (Bobby) Perkins; grandchildren, Jessica Jewell, Sara Perkins, Kayla Perkins and Zach Perkins; great-grandchildren, Oliver Hansel and Karter Smith.

Along with her parents and spouse she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Beasley and son-in-law, Floyd Drury.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Noon & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Robert F. Ehr officiating. Burial will follow in Sand Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10-1 p.m. prior to the service.

Casket bearers will be Sherrie Robinson, Mona Pittman, Zach Perkins, Bobby Perkins, Eddie Drury and Jesse Smith.
