Benny Ray Toll, 68, husband of 21 years to Victoria J. Toll, of Nicholasville, KY died Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at their home in Okeechobee, FL.
Benny was born in Mercer County to the late Thomas Gilbert and Elisabeth Pauline Earlywine Toll. He was a graduate of Mercer County High School; US Army Reserves Veteran; and member at Heritage Baptist Church in Lexington. He had just recently retired from General Cable where he worked as a supervisor, so he could spend time doing what he loved most, golfing, fishing and being with family.
Along with his wife he is survived by four children, Elaina Louise Dennis Sewell, Wayne A. Sewell, Bill (Missy) Dennis, all of Nicholasville, Sherry A. (Brett) Wand, Lexington; two sisters, Mary Ann Toll Wiley, Lawrenceburg and Dorothy Evelyn (Marvin) Smith, Salvisa; two grandchildren, Drew (Katelyn) Dennis and Treyc Sewell; and two great-grandchildren, Harrison E. Dennis and Everett R. Dennis.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nettie Jean Toll; daughter, Jodie Ann Toll; and two brothers, Robert Lee and Thomas Allen Toll.
Casket bearers will be Mike Johnson, Jack Toll, Bobby Toll, Treyc Sewell, Nick Lewis and Mickey Toll. Honorary bearers will be Larry Maddox and William E. Dennis.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ron Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11-1 PM prior to the service.
To abide by the regulations set forth by the State of Kentucky, all persons attending a visitation or funeral will be required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. Fifty (50%) occupancy of the funeral home will be enforced. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.
