Aileen Young Caldwell, 96, of Lawrenceburg, widow of James S. Caldwell, died Friday, November 19, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Caldwell was born in Anderson County to the late Stanley and Nettie Riley Young. She was a homemaker and member of the Lawrenceburg Community Baptist Church.
Aileen is survived by her children, Ginny Caldwell, Barbara Ruth Hall, Beverly (Bobby) Wooldridge, Kitty (Jim) McAllister, Dickie (Regina) Caldwell, Bodie (Tammy) Caldwell, Shawn (Candy) Caldwell, Dude (Donna) Caldwell; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; brother, Clinton Delbert (Shirley) Young; sisters, Brenda Perry and Judy (Richard) Long, all of Lawrenceburg
She was preceded in death by children, Wanda Sue Caldwell, Angela Marie Carr, Billy Caldwell; and nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bros. Steve Broughton, Steve Wells, and Robert Logue officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Monday and prior to the service on Tuesday.
Pall bearers will be her grandsons. Honorary bearers will be Darrell Young, Canessa Arzt, Connie Ray Cunningham, Lanessia McCourt, Carrie Grimes, Brandie Cook, and Brittany Reed.
