Travis Patrick Searcy

         Travis Patrick Searcy, 38, of Lawrenceburg, died on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at his residence.

         He was born in Lexington, KY to Jackie Dale Searcy, of Lawrenceburg and Karen Sea (Gary) Smith, of Mercer County. He was a member of First Baptist Church; he was a 1997 graduate of Anderson County High School; graduate of  University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications; and he worked for Searcy Heating and Cooling.

         Travis is survived by his parents, two sons (James Cleveland Searcy and Liam Claiborne Searcy), seven siblings (Anthony Dale Searcy, Kristen Elizabeth (Lucas) Shouse, Robert Brandon Phillips, Heather Ashley Searcy, Summer Nichole (Jay) Simmons, Justin Dale (Melinda) Smith, and Britny Suzanne Smith), and maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Sea of Lawrenceburg.

         He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Claiborne Stanley Sea, and paternal grandparents, James Cleveland and Susan Searcy.

         Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Gash Memorial Chapel. Bro. Tracey Royalty will officiate. Burial will follow at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday and from 12-2 p.m. on Sunday (prior to the service).

         Casket bearers will be Anthony Searcy, Brandon Phillips, Justin Smith, Chris Watts, Lucas Shouse, and Patrick Sea.
