Sarah Frances Hatchett

Sarah Frances Hatchett, 94, of Lawrenceburg, died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Heritage Hall Healthcare Center.

 

          She was born in Mercer County to the late Eddie Berry and Nettie Hoskins Hatchett. She was a member of Sand Spring Baptist Church and the Dorcus Sunday School Class. Ms. Hatchett worked for the Rutherford School as a cook, Kentucky Overall, Louisville Store, D and R Sewing Center, and Shyrock Shoe Store. She enjoyed her family and friends, sewing, flowers, gardening, the Cincinnati Reds, UK Wildcats and Anderson Bearcats. She also enjoyed going on senior adult trips with her church.

 

          She is survived by one daughter, Anna Josephine Sea; sister, Lucille (E. Paul) Perry; two brothers, Donnie (Sylvia) Hatchett and Willis (Carlotta) Hatchett; four grandchildren, Debbie Goodlett, Jennifer (Glen) Drury, Susan (Larry) Beasley, and Sherry (Kevin) Walker, all of Lawrenceburg; eight great-grandchildren, Misty (Robert) Tackett, Amy Wilder, David (Shannon) Goodlett, Christa (Jody) Mitchell, Daniel (Tiffany) Drury, Matthew Hayes, Seth (Kasey) Beasley, Erin (Johnny) Meade, and TJ Walker; 11 great great-grandchildren, Morgan Wells, Caden Wilder, Hayden Naylor, Carly Tackett, Cailie Wilder, Presley Goodlett, Brady Tackett, Ryleigh Beasley, Layla Hayes, Jackson Drury, and Josie Hayes; a host of nieces and nephews; and another great-great grandchild that's expected later this year.

 

          Ms. Hatchett was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Monroe; son, Eddie Devaughn Satterly; granddaughter, Terry Pogioli; son-in-law, Coy Sea; sister, Katherine Samples; brothers, Bill Hatchett, Bob Hatchett, Everett Hatchett, and Hilry Hatchett; and grandson-in-law, Kenny Goodlett.

 

          Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Wheeler and Bro. Grant Mathes officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11-2p.m. Friday prior to the service.

 

          Casketbearers will be David Goodlett, Daniel Drury, Matthew Hayes, Seth Beasley, Jody Mitchell, Johnny Meade III, and Robert Tackett. Serving as honorary bearers will be Joe Paul Hatchett, Doug Hatchett, Charles Allen Perry, Ernie Perry, Marty Dale Hatchett, Eddie Hatchett, Scott Hatchett, Kevin Hatchett, Alvin Samples, Scott Satterly,  Darrell Satterly, and Rodney Milburn.

          

         The family of Ms. Hatchett would like to extend their gratitude to everyone at Heritage Hall Healthcare Center for caring for their "Sarah" all the years she was in their care they became like family to them.
