Marvin Thomas Waldridge, 70, husband of 45 years to Charlotte Hutchins Waldridge, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
He was born in Anderson County to the late Marvin Burton and Evelyn Faye Leathers Waldridge. Marvin was a member at Fairview Christian Church and worked for the Kentucky State Government Transportation Department in Bardstown on the road crew.
Along with his wife he is survived by 5 children, Kim (Russell) Jackson, of Bardstown, Timmy Waldridge, Lawrenceburg, Chris Waldridge, Brad Waldridge, and Melissa Clark, all of Bardstown; two brothers, Robert (Robbie) Waldridge, Bardstown and David Waldridge, of Fredericktown; sister, Deborah Barnes, Chaplin; 5 grandchildren, Christa, Mackenzie, Brianna, Breonna, and Danica; and three great-grandchildren.
Marvin was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Waldridge and two sisters, Geraldine Spaulding and Nancy Waldridge.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Claude Waldridge and Bro. Grant Mathes officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2-7 p.m.
Cakset bearers will be Ricky Spaulding, Todd Spaulding, Kenny Leathers, Jaron Spaulding, and Richard Barnes. Honorary bearers will be the granddaughters.
