Lisa Kay (Bryant) Cole

         Lisa Kay Bryant Cole, 60, of Lawrenceburg, wife of 43 years to Gary Allen Cole, died Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

         She was born in Mercer County to the late Charles Edward and Waldene Cotton Bryant. Mrs. Cole was a member at Alton Christian Church and Tyrone Baptist Church; 1976 graduate of Anderson County High School; and worked at Farmer’s Bank as a teller.

         Along with her husband she is survived by two sons, Jamie Edward (Rachel) Cole and Jonathan Conway (Shannon) Cole; two sisters, Janice Lynn Bryant and Vicki Shouse Cummins, both of Frankfort; 4 grandchildren, granny’s special girl, Carmen Cole, Bailey, J.D., and Charlie Cole;special niece, Joy Maria Torres; nephew, Joshua Thompson; great niece and nephew, Valorie and Kaleb Mobley; special aunt and uncle, James and Barbara Walker.

         She was preceded in death by sister, Joy Denise Thompson and brother, Jeffery Neal Shouse.

         Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Mark Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 p.m.

         Casket bearers will be Stephen Peach, Lynn Robinson, Phillip Ray Akins, Kaleb Mobley, Joshua Thompson, Billy Waford, Jeremy Wooldridge and Buddy Preston. Honorary bearers will be David Chisley, Mike Cummins, Steven Jeffries, Bruce Cole, Bill Cole, Danny Cole, Donald Cole, Daniel Peach, Shane Sutton and Carky McCarthy.

      Memorial contributions are suggested to the Anderson County Humane Society, 1410 Versailles Road Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.
