Emma “Jean” Harley Stucker, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Earl C. “Hoss” Stucker, died Friday, May 11, 2018 at Tanbark Healthcare in Lexington, KY.
Mrs. Stucker was born to the late James H. and Goldie Searcy Harley. She was a 1946 graduate of Western High School; member of First Baptist Church where she taught middle school Sunday School classes; and was an Assistant Teacher for the New Hope Sunday School Class. She was also retired from the Department of Education where she worked for 43 years.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Gordon) McClure Nash; three grandsons, Mark McClure, Kevin McClure, and Brian McClure; sister, Earlene (Marion) Stucker, all of Lawrenceburg.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Flanagan and Lillian Overstreet; two brothers, Charles Harley and James Harley, Jr.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2018 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Dr. Robert F. Ehr officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation 12-2 p.m. Monday.
Pall bearers will be Kevin McClure, Brian McClure, John Stucker, Andrew Faris, Aaron Lancaster, and Marty Harley. Honorary bearers will be Mark McClure, Lyndon Stucker, John Thacker, and the New Hope Sunday School Class.
