Charles Kenneth Stinnett, age 73, of Baxter, Kentucky, died Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the Harlan ARH Hospital.
Mr. Stinnett was born in Anderson County to the late Kenneth Carl and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Spaulding Stinnett. He was a member of Claylick United Methodist Church; a former truck driver for Kentucky Stone; and enjoyed carving wood and painting.
Charles is survived by two daughters, Mary Elizabeth (James) Lamb, of Cairo, Georgia and Vena Lynn Case, Frankfort; son, Charles Michael Stinnett, of Cairo, Georgia; six grandchildren; brother, James Nelson Stinnett; several step-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, and step great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2019 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Pastor Charlie Shoemaker officiating. Visitation 1-3 p.m. Monday prior to the service. Cremation will follow after the service and a burial will take place at a later date in Hebron Cemetery.
