Barbara Jo McKee Hayden, age 74, of Louisville, died Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Norton’s Healthcare in Louisville.
Ms. Hayden was born in Lawrenceburg, KY to the late John William McKee and Alice Polk Gill. She was a member of Second Christian Church where she sang in the Young Adult Choir; and a former Assignment Clerk for Bell South. She graduated from Lincoln Ridge High School in Simpsonville, KY and went to business school in Lexington.
Barbara is survived by two daughters, Francesca Joiner, Louisville, and Tisa (Jeffrey) McReynolds, Lexington; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her significant other, Hugh Browder and his daughter, Tonenjona Browder, both of Louisville; two sisters, Jane Jones, Nicholasville, and Dawna (Jerald) Alford, Lexington; two brothers, Michael S. King, Nicholasville, and Douglas (Heidi) King, Waterloo, IA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Wesley King.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Second Christian Church in Lawrenceburg, KY, Pastor Jerald Alford, Pastor Richard and Charlotte Thompson, and officiating, Rev. Ramon Smith. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Hills Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 p.m. on Friday at Gash Memorial Chapel and starting at 12 pm on Saturday at the church.
