Alma Pauline Burge Kyler, age 94, of Lawrenceburg, widow of J.W. Kyler, died Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Heritage Hall Care Center.
She was born in Shelby County to the late John Wesley and Mabel Catlett Burge. She was a former cook for the Anderson County Board of Education; member of the First Baptist Church; former member of Eastern Star Hamilton Chapter #293 and Fox Creek Homemakers; and a 1940 graduate of Kavanaugh High School.
Ms. Kyler is survived by three sons, Coleman Ray Kyler, Gary Wayne Kyler and James Ricky Kyler, all of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren, Tony Kyler, Katrina Kyler (Aaron) Wainscott, Derek Cornish and Travis (Catherine) McCrystal; five great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Steve Cornish.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Kathy Cornish and brother, John Thomas Burge.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Dr. Robert F. Ehr officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Tuesday.
Casketbearers will be Richard Gee, Ray Perry, Travis McCrystal, Steve Cornish, Mike Ward and Aaron Wainscott.
