Josephine "Jo" (Satterly) Sea

         Anna Josephine “Jo” Satterly Sea, 76, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Hugh Coy Sea, died Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Saint Joseph Hospice Care Center.

         Mrs. Sea was born in Mercer County to the late Thurl Satterly and Sarah Frances Hatchett.  She was a member at Fairview Christian Church; worked as a manager at Lee’s Famous Recipe; the Board of Education; KY Overall; and several other food establishments.  She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and yard work.

         Jo is survived by three daughters, Debbie Sea Goodlett, Jennifer Sea (Glen) Drury, and Susan Sea (Larry) Beasley, all of Lawrenceburg; half-sister, Karen Satterly (Rob) Cornwell, Frankfort; seven grandchildren, Amy Wilder, David (Shannon) Goodlett, Christa (Jody) Mitchell, Daniel (Tiffany) Drury, Matt (Lauren) Hayes, Seth (Kasey) Beasley, Erin (Johnny) Meade; ten great-grandchildren, Caden Wilder, Hayden Naylor, Peyton Thomas, Cailie Wilder, Presley Goodlett, Ryleigh Beasley, Layla Hayes, Jackson Drury, Josie Hayes, and Paxton Goodlett; two nieces, Sherry (Kevin) Walker, of Lawrenceburg, Brandi (Coe) Norton, of Frankfort; and brother-in-law, Louis Sea, of Lawrenceburg.

         She was preceded in death by a brother, Devaughn Satterly; son-in-law, Kenny Goodlett; niece, Terry Pagioli; and her dog, Heidi.

         Funeral services will be Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Gash Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Wheeler and Bro. Grant Mathes officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday and prior to services on Saturday.

         Casket bearers will be David Goodlett, Daniel Drury, Matt Hayes , Seth Beasley, Johnny Meade, and Jody Mitchell.

         Memorial contributions are suggested to Fairview Cemetery, 1730 Fairview Road, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.
