Frank Ebben "Ebbie" Gay

Frank Ebben “Ebbie” Gay, 80, of Lawrenceburg, widower of Lulia Belle Hyatt Gay, died Monday, May 22, 2017 at his residence.

         He was born in Anderson County to the late Dewey and Edna Henry Gay. Mr. Gay was a member at Fellowship Baptist Church and worked for the Anderson County Board of Education as a custodian.

         Mr. Gay is survived by three children, Patricia Ann Mitchell, of Frankfort, Michael David (Melissa) Gay, and Teresa Lynn (James) Hatfield, both of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren, Bridgett Michael Gay, Michael Adam Gay, Eric Allen Carey, Dakota Lynn Carey; and one great-granddaughter, Marianne Elizabeth Gay.

         Along with his wife and his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dewey Gay, Jr. and Billy Gay; and half-brother, Neville Gay.

         Funeral services will be Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. George Dye officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.

         Casket bearers will be Mike Gay, Adam Gay, Dakota Carey, Eric Carey, Ronnie Gay, and James Hatfield.
