Betty Lou (Hill) Kinne

          Betty Lou Hill Kinne, age 84, of Lawrenceburg, widow of George Wilbur Kinne, died Friday, January 5, 2018 at Signature Healthcare (Heritage Hall) in Lawrenceburg.

         Ms. Kinne was born in Wurtsboro, New York to the late George Leonard and Ruth Elizabeth Hendershot Hill.  She was a member of the Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church and Woman’s Group; former secretary at Emma B. Ward Elementary School; past President and member of the Anderson County Fire Department Auxillary; and an avid member of the ACHS Band Boosters Club.

         Betty is survived by two daughters, Donna (Bobby) Callahan and Anita (Marty Stratton) Hatchell; three sons, George (Joan) Kinne, Mike (Robin) Kinne, all of Lawrenceburg, and Carl (Barbie) Kinne, of Paris, Kentucky; 9 grandchildren, Shannon (Steven), Anita (Jarek), Beth (Scott), Warren (Michelle), Shawn, Patrick, Katie, Aaron, and Lauryn; 10 great-grandchildren, all of Lawrenceburg; sister, Phyllis Quinn, and niece, Marge (Pete) Schott, both of Washington.

         Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church with Bro. Mark Gibbons and Bro. Errol Archerson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.  Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

         Casket bearers will be Chris Harrod, Johnny Walls, Dallas Stewart, Jason Cubert, Doug Ingram, and J.R. Robinson.  Honorary bearers will be the Anderson County Fireman’s Auxillary.
